I'm an instructor that has never used Canvas before, where do I start?

Sign up for Introduction to Canvas and one of the Canvas Open Labs. Check the Workshop Schedule to find the next workshop. Alternately, you can visit our Canvas Resources page for self-paced guides and video tutorials from Instructure.

My students need help with Canvas, can I send them to you?

Academic Technology provides support and training to NMSU instructors. Students who encounter a problem with Canvas can file a help ticket, or get individual assistance from Student Technology.

Where are you located?

Our offices are in Milton Hall room 80, and our computer lab is in Milton Hall room 81. (Campus Map)

I need help on nights and weekends, is there someone I can call?

Our support hours are from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. We follow the NMSU employee schedule and our offices are closed for NMSU recognized holidays. We do try to respond to urgent emails over the weekend when possible. File a help ticket from within Canvas, or email Academic Technology at learning@nmsu.edu
